They say that you should always be careful for what you wish for. There may be some truth in the statement.
For the last three months we have been overwhelmed with new patients registering with us. The first two weeks of January saw 105 new patient registrations. This is meant to be our quiet time, however it means that the level of service we offer is in high demand.
Greg, and I are delighted that our internet reviews are bringing in so many new patients. It means that we must be doing something right.
As I sat working out what to write about in our first blog, I was amazed at what the year has brought for us at Altmore Dental Care. Six years have elapsed almost to the day since Greg and I took the reins and started the transformation into what we are now.
We have once again had our busiest year ever. This is up from the previous five and long may it continue. If I had to nail my colours to the mast and state what has made us continue to grow when the entire world seems to be collapsing around our ears, it is that we have a very,very good and friendly team. People comment on the light hearted atmosphere in the practice. It is cultivated from not wanting a stuffy, starchy team of people. Good coffee also helps!
Summer this year saw two fantasic events take place. The first was Greg’s marriage to Vanita. An amazing day had by all, and we wish them a long and happy future together.
The next was our selection by the Elite Dental Awards as finalists for practice of the year. Our thanks to Elite for a great day, and a great evening out (further information at www.dental-practice.org).
We have also once again achieved the BDA good practice award for the third successive year. We proudly display the plaque on the wall outside the practice as well as at reception (further information at www.bda.org/gps).
